Meet the Bakers
Terri is the founder, and mom here at Kayak Cookies. She is the boss you actually want. Known for her infectious laugh, and her ability to connect with her employees, she makes Kayak Cookies a very enjoyable place to work. She loves her two dogs, the outdoors, and (thankfully) baking. Terri describes herself as "fun loving, introspective, and a creative spirit".
Florence has been baking at Kayak since July 2016. She was born and raised in France and brings her culture with her into the bakery. When she is not baking she loves to ski, sail, and read. Also known as "Queen of the Clipboards", Flo describes herself has "stubborn, opinionated and French".
Poppy has been with the Kayak Cookie Team since April 2015. She always brings her smile, mindfulness and headband into the Kayak Cookie Bakery. She loves walking on the beach with her dog Buddha, swimming, and kayaking. Poppy describes herself as "lighthearted, community oriented, and a dancing fool".
If you have eaten a Chocolate Salty Oat in the past couple of months, chances are he mixed, scooped, and scaled them. He loves to spend his free time fishing, throwing a frisbee, or taking long walks on the beach. He brings a great sense of humor to the bakery as an eye for the perfect cookie. Also known as AKA "Bretty Crocker", Brett describes himself as "carefree, witty, and immature"
Ashley has been with the Kayak Cookie team since 2009. She is known as being the fastest cookie scooper this side of the Mississippi. Also the assistant Athletic Director at Barnstable High School, Ashley spends her time coaching field hockey, hanging out with her dog, traveling and reading. She describes herself as "adventurous, loyal, and sarcastic".
Also known as the "Energizer Bunny", Cheryl can always be found running around the bakery. She does personal training, and elderly work in her free time. She loves to walk and she loves smoothies! Cheryl describes herself as "humble, honest, and enthusiastic".
Whether it’s making Salty Oats, creating a website (ours!), connecting with people, or bringing his positive spirit, Dylan’s MO is all or nothing! This guy has both feet in! He describes himself as curious, compassionate, and a little goofy. We agree!
